In this Eucharistic Year of Mission, buoyed by the knowledge and love of Jesus, we are sent forth to walk with others as spiritual companions and serve those in need.

Morning of Service: Down on the Farm

On Saturday, April 26 from 9-noon, join your sisters as we serve in this year of mission at the Run the Race Farm (2500 Gardner Road, Galloway)! This beautiful 8-acre space is part of the Brian Muha Foundation, and Rachel Muha needs our help keeping it safe and clean for the Day School children. It is a treasured place where the children get a break from city life to play and learn outdoors and to relax and enjoy the gift of nature. We need many helping hands for the following tasks: trimming, edging, gardening, painting, repairing, and picking up sticks! Wear gardening clothes and bring extra tools if you have them.

Please RSVP HERE. Join us for Mass at 8 AM, then carpool or meet at the farm. A detailed email will be sent closer to the date. Contact Kristie with any questions at kkontak@yahoo.com.

Following Mary's Heart of Love of Neighbor

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

The Immaculate Heart of Mary is our model as we strive to live out these commandments. All women of the parish are invited to join us on Thursday, May 15 to find inspiration and strength in a talk by Malinda Bostick, PhD, and honor Mary with our annual May Crowning. Doors open at 6:30 for a delicious soup supper and social time. An optional An optional donation of diapers of all sizes and wipes will be collected to benefit Mommies Matter. Please register HERE. Contact Anna Halbisen with any questions: achalbisen@yahoo.com.
