Adult Faith Formation

Adult Faith Formation exists at St Brendan in order to help fulfill the parish vision to “become who you were created to be.” To help accomplish this our mission statement and our hope is that “St. Brendan Parish is your home to encounter Jesus and grow in virtue.”

The Adult Faith Formation program offers a variety of bible studies, book groups, talks, events, and men’s, women’s and family programming for those seeking, those striving, and those sharing their faith.

These opportunities to grow in knowledge of your Catholic faith are available year round. In addition to growing in knowledge of your Catholic faith, you will see how your community grows as you develop strong friendships, rooted in Christ, with the other participants!

Young Couples Date Night!

St Brendan and the Knights of Columbus will host date nights for you!
We’ll provide dinner and take care of the kids (up to 5 years old) while you enjoy making new friends with other couples in the parish. Our next session is on Friday, May 30, 6:30-8 PM. Share your stories and learn from other Catholic couples about the joys and challenges of marriage and raising children over dinner and social time. The Knights of Columbus will introduce a five-part video series entitled “The Mission of the Family“ for viewing and small group discussion. It explores the beauty and greatness of God’s gift of marriage and the family to help couples understand their roles in building a strong Catholic family in which they help each other get to heaven and teach their children how to love and live as disciples of Christ. No cost to the program! Contact Chuck at chuck436@att.net with questions.

Summer Scripture Study: Gospel of Luke

The Gospel of Luke takes you on a journey that begins with the foretelling of John the Baptist's birth and culminates in Jesus' ascension into heaven. On the road to Emmaus, a story unique to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus gave us the greatest Bible study of all time, laying out his fulfillment of the Old Testament.

Join us for this 8-part study with video and discussion where Jeff Cavins and Dr. Jeffrey Morrow will show you the beautiful Biblical roots for Mary, the Rosary, and the Mass that are found in Luke, strengthening your prayer life like never before. June 10-July 29, 7-8:30 PM, Wellnitz. Questions, contact Phil Petrella at papetrella@gmail.com
